Q13 (BB1M) - Box Building 1 (Modular)
This assessment will test the delegate’s knowledge of building modular jointing chambers. This module covers the excavation, base preparation, installation of the modular rings, ironwork and duct entries.
Q12 (BB1C) - Box Building 1 (Concrete)
Designed for engineers working on the Openreach network including Contract Partners. It will test the delegate’s knowledge of building modular jointing chambers.
Q14 (BB2C) - Box Building 2 (Concrete)
For engineers working on the Openreach network including BT Northern Ireland, BT Operate and External Suppliers (Contractors). It tests the delegate’s knowledge of Concrete Joint Boxes and Shuttering.
Q15 (BB3C) - Box Building 3 (Concrete)
This assessment will test the delegate’s knowledge of Concrete Joint Boxes and Shuttering.
Q16 - NGA Cab Base
Provides comprehensive training for technicians and engineers working on the Next Generation Access (NGA) network. This course is designed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to install, maintain, and troubleshoot NGA cabinets.
Q17 - NGA Cabinet Root and Shell Installation
Designed to provide participants with the essential skills and knowledge required for the successful installation of NGA (Next Generation Access) cabinet roots and shells.
Q19 (CD1) - Core Drilling
Essential for operatives working on underground telecoms networks. Delegates will review legal requirements, ensure safety compliance, and understand procedures and appropriate documentation for the process’ in various structures.
Q18 - Cabinets Cross Connection
Check the delegates understanding & ability to complete the installation of a cabinet cross connection using current working practices and quality standards.
Q20 (DB1) - Duct Blockages 1
For engineers working on the Openreach network including Contract Partners. Tests the delegate’s knowledge of repairing ducts. This module covers the installation of Duct Repair Kits 2A, 3A and 4A.
Q21 (DL1) - Duct Laying 1
For engineers working on the Openreach network including Contract Partners. This assessment will test the delegate’s knowledge of installing Duct 54 and 56.
Q22 (DL2) - Duct Laying 2
This assessment will test the delegate’s knowledge of Installing Duct 54 and duct 56. Test delegates understanding & ability to complete the installation of multi-way ducts from 3-way up to 9-way using current working practices and quality standards.
Q24 (FCCW1) - F&C Renewal Carriageway
This training is essential for operators working on the Openreach underground network and other third-party-owned UG telecom networks completing excavations to remove and install carriageway Frames and Covers.
Q28 (ME1) - Maintenance Excavation 1
Check the delegate’s understanding & ability to complete the practical in-field assessment on performing a maintenance excavation using current working practices and quality standards.
Q25 (FCFW1) - F&C Renewal Footway
Checks the delegate’s understanding & ability to complete frame and cover renewal in the footway of cover no 2, 4, 6, 110, 111, using current working practices and quality standards.
Q036 - Slewing 1
Check the Delegates understanding & ability to complete the slewing of ducts up to 2- way with a minimum of 15 meters in length using current working practices and quality standards.
Q037 - Slewing 2
Check the delegates understanding & ability to complete the slewing of duct’s from 3-way up to 9-way using current working practices and quality standards.
K08 - Hand Rodding in the U/G Network
Tests the delegate's knowledge of and ability to install underground cables or draw rope where hand rodding is the chosen option.
