The unit is assessed using a multiple choice knowledge assessment and a practical skills test, conducted in controlled circumstances.

  • Why there is a need for periodic examinations of equipment

  • The emergency procedures when working in a confined space

  • Perform an entry using self-contained breathing apparatus
