SA001 safety overhead + tetra combined course
This SA001 Safety Overhead + TETRA Combined Course provides learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to work safely on ladders and wooden poles within a telecommunications environment. The course covers:
Ladder safety
Pole checking and climbing
Joint user poles
TETRA safety procedures
SA001 Safety Overhead covers the hazards and potential risks associated with working on ladders and wooden poles, alongside the policies, procedures and safe working practices required. Learners develop an understanding of relevant health and safety legislation, pole checking and the precautions required when accessing and working on overhead networks.
The TETRA element builds on this knowledge by covering the additional risks and safe working procedures associated with TETRA telecommunications infrastructure, helping learners work safely and compliantly around relevant overhead equipment.
The combined course brings both accreditations together, providing delegates with a broader understanding of overhead safety, risk management and safe working practices for telecommunications operations.
