IPAF Harness Awareness Course Overview
The IPAF Harness Awareness course is designed to give delegates a clear understanding of the importance of wearing a safety harness when working at height in MEWPs. The course covers legislation, standards, types of harnesses and lanyards, and the risks of incorrect use. Successful candidates will be able to recognise when a harness is required, how it should be used, and the consequences of misuse.
IPAF Harness User Course Overview
The IPAF Harness User course provides delegates with the practical knowledge and skills to safely use a full body harness and associated fall protection equipment in MEWPs. Training includes selecting the correct harness, fitting and adjusting it properly, and using it in line with industry best practice. On completion, delegates will be able to use harness equipment effectively to reduce the risk of falls and injury.
IPAF Harness Inspection Course Overview
The IPAF Harness Inspection course is aimed at those responsible for carrying out pre-use checks and detailed inspections of harnesses, lanyards, and connectors. The training covers inspection regimes, legislation, record-keeping, and identifying signs of wear or damage. Successful candidates will have the competence to inspect and assess harness equipment, ensuring it remains safe and fit for use.
